Urban Decay, I Love You Man.

You know me and eye make-up, we go together like a moth to a flame.
On second thoughts, I hate moths.
*shudders*
So maybe not moths...maybe more like a fat kid loves cake, yeah that works.
I like cake, me.

I do not like moths.
In their presence I become a massive professional moth massacring machine...
If you follow me on twitter you will know this.
;)

I think they're hibernating at the moment, they don't like the cold. Long may it be cold...

Anyyyyyyyways, this, believe it or not is a post about make-up, and in no way do moths relate to make-up!
I hope.
Let's hope Urban Decay aren't doing a Tesco on us and slyly sneaking moth juice into their mascara, now there's a nice thought :|

AHH yes there I was, Urban Decay.
*just to clarify, I'm pretty sure their make-up is moth free*
I was having a pretty good make-up day, if I do say so myself, and luckily it was good old Valentines Day.
(Also, this post is slightly on the late side, my bad)
Cupid had been kind and made sure that not only did my eyelashes stay upright at an almost LVL Lashes level, but my eyeshadow had just gone 'right'.
Out came my iPhone's trusty camera, and complete with absolute zero natural light, (gotta love February) and I took some piccies.

I used my 'best make-up' seeing as it was a special day, and dug out my Urban Decay Naked 2 palette, and my MUFE Smoky Lash mascara...also partly because my Maybelline 'The Falsies' is pretty much empty. I also used my larrvely Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer, and a L'Oreal Kohl Pencil, which is too small to see the name of.

Ah yes, Duty Free on the plane suits me well, look at the beauty right there.
I chose to add a bit of rare shimmer to my eyes today too - so ventured away from my go-to shades 'Foxy' and 'Tease', and chose to use my usual highlight shade 'Bootycall' as my all-over-lid and tear-duct colour.
I then went through my crease with the golden brown shade 'Snakebite', and a tiny bit of 'Busted' right in the line of the crease, which I then blended out.
I added a flick in the form of the matte black shade 'Blackout', for a slightly more subtle take on a liquid eyeliner flick.

I was sorely tempted to splash 'YDK'  all over my eyelid, because it's beautiful, but I resisted, not sure I'm ready for that much sparkle at 7am...

Left-Right
Bootycall, Snakebite, Busted, Blackout.

Oh...and while we're here, my actual Valentines present <3
Hope you all had a lovely time, no matter what you did or who you did or didn't spend it with :D

P.S Is anyone else now singing 'We go together, like babalabalabalabankjhjvwdfjwfbingdibong', (or words to that effect) from 'Grease'?
In hindsight that would have been a much better metaphor for my eyelash obsession than moths.

P.P.S I guarantee that if you weren't singing it before, you are now.

    1. Aww thank you! The beauty about make-up is that you can fake things like a cut crease - I bet you could do it :D
